Doug was an avid collector of fish decoys as well, starting in 1987. A few favorites were Jim Pullen, Henry Max, Harley Ragan, Mike Holmes, and Lac du Flambeau Native American style decoys. He enjoyed socializing, spearing and attending shows with other carvers. Doug will be remembered as a warm hearted, energetic, and high spirited man.
